- Tell Me More About The History of WeishFest!
WeishFest (pronounced “Wish” Fest) is a one-night music event unlike anything in the area, held by and for a 501c3 non-profit organization called The Andrew Weishar Foundation ("Weish4Ever"). Every dollar we raise at this event benefits Weish4Ever's mission of providing direct support and financial relief to families with adolescents and young adults battling cancer. WeishFest started in 2013 as a summer music festival at Standard Bank Stadium in Crestwood, IL. In 2016, the event moved indoors to 115 Bourbon Street to create a one of a kind, intimate, indoor music event. WeishFest has quickly gained national attention and 2022 will be the event's 9th year as the biggest party on the Southside of Chicago. Along with some regional favorites, WeishFest has welcomed national artists such as Russell Dickerson, Andy Grammer, O.A.R., Dispatch. Third Eye Blind, Walker Hayes, Randy Houser, Rodney Atkins, Eddie Money, and Warrant! In 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our virtual "WeishFest @ Home" was brought to our fans' living rooms with virtual performances by Old Dominion, Marc Roberge of O.A.R., Walker Hayes, Canaan Smith, Dispatch, and also featured special guest appearances from Dan "Big Cat" Katz (Barstool Sports), Lucas Giolito (Chicago White Sox), Eddie Olcyk, Pat McGann, Zach Miller, and more!
- Is This An All-ages Event?
Yes! The event is family-friendly and open to all ages - note that IDs will be checked at entrance. All attendees under 21 will receive an “X” on their hand and will be asked to exit the bar after midnight (bar remains open until 3am).
- Is Re-Entry Allowed?
Sorry! Re-entry not permitted. Trust us, you won’t want to leave this party!
- What Can I Carry In?

ALL bags will be searched before entry. Bags will be restricted to small purses, totes and drawstring bags only. Backpacks and other bags with multiple pockets are prohibited. Bags / purses can be no larger than 12” x 12” x 6” If an accommodation is needed for medical purposes, please contact us at team@weishfest.com
